Can it kill you?
Bipolar Disorder is not a disease or anything so it can not kill you. I do know one way you could get killed from it though. Like on those days you are very depressed you might feel very sad enough to commit suicide, but other than that it can not kill you(Stoppler).
How many people have Bipolar Disorder?
I could not find how many people in the world have it. The only thing I could find was what Stoppler said, and she said that about five point seven million Americans have it(Stoppler).
What are the symptoms? I read a lot about the symptoms of Bipolar disorder and they are depression, thoughts of suicide, and lost of interest in things you were interested in before. One thing Stoppler said was it changes your sleep patterns which means that you get up at random times in the middle of the night(Stoppler).
How do people get Bipolar Disorder?
Bipolar is not a disease you can catch from something. Doctors do believe it can be due to a chemical imbalance in the brain(Patient Health International). They do know that you can get from people in your family that has had it before(Stoppler).
